Did anyone else go this weekend? I went last night, it was unbelievable. Never ever dreamed I'd get to see Paul McCartney, I had tears in my eyes the whole time.

If you haven't heard of it, the show is put on every year by Neil Young to help fund the Bridge School. This was the 18th annual show. They always have great acts. This year the line-up included Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sonic Youth, Tony Bennett, Eddie Vedder, with Paul closing out the show. He was by far the best peformer I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. I'm still buzzing from the show!

OMG!!! I am so frickin' jealous and soooo happy for you. I was born a Beatles fan and have dreamed about seeing any of them in concert. Man that's awesome. Paul McCartney. WOW! You'll remember that forever.

It WAS awesome. I totally have to see him tour someday. His set last night was short, there were like 10 other bands that played. Some of the songs hedid were Yesterday, Blackbird, Let it Be, Baby you can drive my car, Michelle. He ended with Hey Jude with the audience and all the other bands that played singing along. I was just so amazed at his personality. Very charming and energetic and funny. He talked about the Beatles a little and also talked about the things he wished he'd said to John before he died. Then he played a song he wrote for him, can't think of the name of it. He was amazing.

Ah, I'm stillin heaven. You're right, I'll never forget.

(and to think I mostly went to see Ben. Well, he rocked as always too!)
