I didn't realize G. Love was so popular there...interesting. Are the shows big? They must be 'cause G is doing tons of shows there...well, not TONS but a few.

hotels can be expensive, depending on where you stay. Tourist info. Ctrs. will help you find inexpensive rooms near the venues, and they even make reservations foryou. and get a rail pass, it will be your best investment! Japan is so cool. be forewarned though, they usually start their shows very early in the evenings...6/7 pm! and go to Fukuoka...it is awesome!!! whoever goes, have a blast!!!
