i like old old pj.. went to a concert of theirs a couple years back, and even tho it was the last one of their tour and they were understandably tired, i just wasn't feelin the vibe from them anymore.. still jam to some of their old stuff tho.

Man I still love Pearl Jam!!!!!! Eddie is my man. That band has been with me through all my rough years, and good ones too. I was fresh into highschool when the first album came out, and I still jam it to this day. Pearl Jam and I have grown together, they hold a special place.

I used to dig them alot, then they got WAY too political and angry. Plus their last few albums have been pretty weak. Their live stuff is good though.

I just wish some musicians would shut up and play music. Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, Bruce Springsteen, REM, etc....didn't do shizz to help John Kerry. He still got smoked by G.W., even with all their suport and the "tour for change." Everybody has a right to express their opinion, but it gets old after awhile. Shut up and play.

HUGE PJ fan. I like the fact that I may not agree with everything they support, but it gets me to open my mind a little.

Technically, Vote for Change wasn't openly telling everyone to vote for Kerry, just not for W.I didn't listen, though. It was worseat the concert in DC (the one on TV). I went to the show in Toledo, and Eddie spent like 2 minutes quoting some stats about Ohio's economy, but that was it. Plus I got to see Neil Young make a surprise appearance. If those artists really wanted a change, they should've went door-to-door to wake up the youth voters. That kills me how they all complain about the administration, but can't roll out of bed to go vote.

...back to PJ though. I though they were more angry on albums like 10 and Vs., than today. They are one band who knows how to take care of their fans.

Pearl Jam = Pretty damn good

I'm worried as to when they are going to be considered "classic rock" though!
