those of you who are photographers will understand this one..
i had some 4x5 sheet film processed a while back. i got the stuff back today and paid $48 for it. i got it home, and all of the sheets are fogged. most of them fogged halfway through the neg... i was so pissed.
anyway sorry if this is a waste of anyones time, but i just had to vent about that, most of you know how much work i put into my art. smileys/smiley19.gif

LSV, sorry to hear that shitz running your way today. Altho I don't know about what you are talking about, I can tell from your post that you are disappointed and down. Chin up, babes. YOUR art will definitely not suffer for this.
Smiles don't correct the problem, but they do lessen the load. And never apologize for venting. In here you can always find twoears, withno waiting (Not to mention the countless hugz). I hope the problem can be corrected and I hope brighter days are ahead. Peace. . . .smileys/smiley14.gif

*hugs* thanks ragmop. i cant correct the film, fogging means they exposed it to the light, so half of the images are gone. its okay though i will just have to shoot it again.

Oh. I guess that IS more serious a problem than I thought. But still from what I have seen, your are very talented, not lucky. Your talent will shine through when you shoot it again.
And look at the glass half full: Be thankful they weren't beautifulimages of you and G together!

aw girl... do I know how much that sucks!! i;m taking a break form photo right now. it took up too much time and wayyyyy toooo much money. i used to buy my film in bulk and roll it myself. (cheaper that way for those of you that don't know) and I was in my closet rolling it (to aviod fogging) and my dog thought that it was a game of hide-n-seek er something and busted in the door. that was a lot of money and film down the drain. so pissed. so I feel ya sista. so I don't really have anything to say to make ya feel better except that your not alone. but like Ragmop said... keep your chin up!smileys/smiley2.gif

ah how sucky! i've had many rolls turn out that way when i was in HS.. no fun at all!
good thing it's something you can reshoot.. just think of it this way.. it's "someones" way of telling you that the first roll really wouldn't have turned out anyway and this reshoot will be much better!

yeah, the biggest bitch about it is that it was 4x5 sheet film. i had to borrow a beastly viewcamera from my school. have you ever worked with one of those monsters? that thing was so heavy and the tripod was no treat either... its neat to work with one though and get larger negs. but yeah,i kept the stuff from the shoot, i just have to contruct it again and all that.
thanks everyone! smileys/smiley1.gif
