They are from Athens GA. WSP is probably the biggest "jamband" going. Alot of people say they are the modern day Allman Brothers, alot of southern rock influence, but badazz and funky as hell. Just real get down rock-n-roll!They pull alot of people on their tours, and have a following like that of Phish. Lots of heads and hips at the shows. GLaSS have opened for them a bunch of times.

Their original guitarist Mikey Houser died from Pancreatic cancer after Bonnaroo in 2002, which theyheadlined both Fri. and Sat. night. They replaced him and released an album, "Ball," in 2003. They took the whole of 2004 off and did not tour at all, so this return tour is going to be the fecking FIRE!!!!

YES! No FL love but thats what my car is for.My first Panic experience was going to see G Love open for them in Tampa about 7-8 years ago. We were going to leave and thought ahh we'll give em a shot. Wow. Now my 2nd favorite live act after GLaSS. Seen WSP at least a dozen times. R.I.P. Mikey.

If you don't know much Panic my advice would be buy "Til the Medicine Takes" first, and then "Live in the Classic City." Good start.

That really is the perfect start, I have turned a lot of people on to Panic by giving them 'til the Medicine takes, songs like "climb to safety" usually turn a non panic fan to a panic fan. I give a thumbs up to this idea good one Mr. Clean!

I like live in the classic city as a way to turn on non-panic fans... to them.
