a few more pieces ive done

here's some stuff:


this is a piece i did this semester in my alternative photo processes class, the first is a cyanotype, the second is a salted print(salt water and silver nitrate). obviously, its the same photo, i just matted them together. both of these processes are very early photo processes:

and this one was my final drawing for drawing I. the idea was to emulate the style of an artist we liked or to take one of their pieces and draw it in our own style. this one is edward gorey's drawing but i changed a few things to suit it to my own style:

and finally a self portrait. i acctually printed out a full size negative of this and printed it in my alternative processes class. it looks a lot cooler as a salted print, but my instructor has it cause she wanted to make a slide of it:

oh those are awesome! i would love love love to see the salted print of the last one.. i never got to do cool stuff like that in my HS classes!

well, this class is at my college. i never took photo classes in HS. but something like this with really poisonous chemicals is probably not something HS teachers would like to attempt. i didnt take any photo classes in HS.. i didnt realize i wanted to be a photo major until i was about 22. i digress.. if you ever want any info on how to do them at home lemme know.


yeah, ragmop, i did do it as a salted print, i just dont have it right now. my instructor has it, she's making slides of that one a a few more that i did. i will probably shoot my own slides of those when i get them back from her, i will show it to you.

to use up so much freakin energy just to have the willpower to keep
working and by the time you get home you are just so damn drained you
can't do anything you enjoy to lift yourself up again.. damn vicious
cycle.
