Iagree it is going to be a great year for music. I am not only looking forward to the SS album and the sublime tribute, but one of my favorite artists, Beck is coming out with a new record this year. He rocks me, I know alot of people say his work has gone down since odelay, but mutations rocks, and I dig seachange as well, so f@#k the critics, Rock on Beck!!!!!

i have seen them live, and even tho it wasn't the greatest venue [the new white river ampetheatre outside of seattle smileys/smiley11.gif],
the concert still kicked ass! circumstances at the time forced me
to stay sober for the concert, but that just gave me more opportunity
to soak up thom's energy and get high on the mood! [as cheesy as that
sounds lol anyone watching me probably would have assumed i was on X or
something]

i highly suggest you see them live tho! especially in an outdoor scene.

BEST CONCERT EVER

edit: oh, and jaykob is right.. they are, unfortunately, taking a break
on album making for a while [the orchestra thing, tho i'm not sure how
solid that is.. and also phil and jonny have cameo's in the newest
Harry Potter as two of the Wyrd Sisters, plus a bunch of other stuff]

however, </span>they've reissued the My Iron Lung EP in the UK [this past monday actually]. i'd love to get my hands on a copy of that.

a good way to keep up-to-date on radiohead is http://www.greenplastic.com smileys/smiley2.gif

I've been listening to the latest Trail of dead cd and it's pretty good. I reminds me a little of the mars volta. I am really excited to hear what the new volta cd will sound like(frances the mute). I heard one of songs off the new cd and really dig it.

Hey Rose,

I agree with your comment about beck. I Have liked all his stuff with the exception of Midnite Vultures. I just heard Epro, and it was not what I was expecting, but that was not a bad thing. I hope I like the rest of the new cd as much as the single. Edited by: Fake_name

I heard a new Beck song on the radio the other day and I dug it, not sure the name of the song though. I wasn't to keen on Midnight Vultures either, but I love everything else he has done. I too am looking forward to the new record, can't wait.

ok so I just watched both videos with my little one in the room and she says that "hell yes" is her Beck song, she digs the video and was singing along with the chorus. It was too funny.Edited by: ramble on rose

yeah, i was looking forward to another concert this year from RH.. but
a break is also good.. don't want them to burn out! they're doing
so many great things right now anyway, that i can forgive them this
