I just fell in love this weekend... for any of you that had the privledge of attending the "Frosty the Snowman" show at 4th & B in downtown San Diego, you know how I feel... I would like to hear all thoughts on this, so feel free to e-me! It was actually the coolest thing ever, I won tickets to go from a local radio station here in Kansas City... So if you could imagine how awesome it would be to fly to Cali, and see G-love, Jack Johnson, and Hoobastank! Not to mention special guest Donavan Frankenrieter...uhhhhhhhhsmileys/smiley2.gif
I had the best time of my life ~~ Thank You, G-Love, for being so damn sexy!

I wish... I tried, I spoke with a few guys that were in charge of the show, but it was a no go... We were right up front, so you could lick their sweat if you wanted to!!!! G-Love is so damn sexy too, you know? http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_4_107.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001) The music it's self was so erotic, and the crowd was so into the grove... Definitely an unforgettable moment.
One thing did irritate me, all the flippin' chicks hanging on his nuts! It wouldn't have been so obvious if they weren't on stage when Jack Johnson was playing! You could tell that he was actually getting annoyed with them, so it was sorta funny, but rude... Then jack and 'g' performed Rainbow, and I was all better!!! smileys/smiley4.gif
Hey, thanks for asking! w/b anytime!

i too, was at the "frosty" show. the band absolutely rockin'. g love and coolio did a song together that was really tight. my ultimate fave- "cold beverage." standing off to the side of the stage, i got a kick out of watching coolio sing the chorus. simply awesome. it made me want to get a beer, and i did-thanks backstage crew for the hook up. jack was obviously great. donavon frankenreiter- the next "it" guy. hung out with some friends from slightly stoopid and jack's crew. isaw those girls hanging around g and jack, but that's part of the scene, you know. backstage was fun, now i know why they call it the "green room". (pun definitely intended) took some pics with the gang- garrett, coolio, jack, donovan, and miles from slightly stoopid. backstage was more like hanging out with your friends, that's for sure.Edited by: facetiousme

Cool, nice pics. Were there any posters or flyers to commemorate this event? If anyone has one or knows someone, I have $$, or will trade something from my collection!!

EmC- they could have quite possibly recorded that track at the frosty show, i could look into that. melodylee-i could have taken you backstage, but i was already with2 girlfriends of mine that knew g's crew. they were to the side of the stage during g's set, (not the ones dancing during jack's set). those pics arefrom the 91x website so if they look grainy, blame it on the photographer. just wanted to post them up. i am from s.d. and have met g on several occasions. in a nutshell through obsevation, he's way mellow, a down to earth guy, with a weakness for the ladies.

ok quick question. were the girls that were on stage w/ jack dance-n- realy bad and stupid?the reason i ask is b/c that could of been kim , jacks' wife ,yeah she can not jam out to wellhttp://www.philadelphonic.com/forum/smileys/smiley6.gif , but she is pretty good at taking pics,http://www.philadelphonic.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gifshe does most of jacks pics. on his web site

undercoverlover- not one of the girls was kim, jack's wife.the girls werethese just turned 21-somethingsdancing directly behind jack's band for the audience to see. they were bugging most of the crew because they drew too much attention to themselves. i'm sure jack found it flattering, but it just got a little out of hand.

Well said Facetiousme... These were typical drunk chicks, and I could be rude and call them something else... I thought they were totally distracting. The only reason they were on stage is cause of G-Love! You could tell, at least from where I stood, he was trying to bediscreet but it wasn't working... Oh well, I am just jealous, if it were me I would have enjoyed it too, I just dance better! HAHA
