Whenever I record a second track, it's "off" from the first. Just enough to make it sound like crap. Would poor quality headphones do this? Doesn't make sense and it's frustrating the hell out of me. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.

I've checked into the latency thing and that wasn't it. After perusing the audacity board I found that it happens from time to time depending on your PC and all of that.

Laeyto I'm using a shitty little mic and bud-phones. The problem was that I'd record say a 12 bar blues. Then for shits and giggles I'd go back and lay down a 2nd track lead. When I'd listen to it later the lead would be JUST off in timing. Of course this wasn't me!!! hehe, but the program wasn't lining it all up as it should have been. As if there was a delay in the lines somewhere. Being that I'm REALLY trying to put my music together and make something happen with it, this problem is one that causing a big hiccup with my progress.
