I know there are people out there who have heard it, I was just wondering what they thought or what it's like.

I have heard 4 of the new songs on the cd, between live stuff and radio shows. I like it, but I am a jack fan so maybe a little bias. I really like sitting, waiting, wishing, the new single. I actually like it more the more I hear it. I think this cd is going to be like the last. I am very excited for the new cd... March 1st!

From what I haveheard it is just similar to the last, which to me is a good thing! On and On is one of my favorite cds. But I do think there are going to be more "love" songs if that is what you call them. 3 of the 5 I have heard seem to have that theme.

i agree, it does seem to contain alot of 'love-oriented' songs, which is not always bad but i just hope it doesnt mean he's going to conform to society, which i highly doubt since he is so proud of his upbringings and doing the whole love all the time thing would go against his previous records. w/e jack is the man- his music will always be the sh** . i love that man

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I really just want to know. Does this mean you didn't like the previous cds.For myself, I wanted thecd to sound like his past work, because i am not getting that sound anywhereelse. I am not attacking your opinion, just wondering what you were expecting or hoping for?

I absolutely loved the past cds. On and On is my personal fav.


I was hoping that he would stay with the same style, but after four cds of similar sounding songs, I was just kinda wishing there would be something a tad new.


That being said - I heart the new one.

i bought the cd over the weekend....and uuuhh well i thinks its ok. some of the songs are really cool but i think i'll have to listen to it to sleep or relax. i was hopin for a little experimenting on jacks part. i'll listen to it at work today to help it grow on me. its an uip for jack but personally i think g's got him way beat on the new cds kickin ass. the hustle is still the shit

Not all that great if you ask me. I did like Better Together but the rest of the album wasn't all that great. I guess maybe my expectations were a little high since I liked the first 2 so much. Just my opinion though.

If it makes you feel better, I was looking OH SO FORWARD to his august 14th show here. I counted down the days until the tickets went on sale.


And thennn, a couple days before they did, I got a call saying that I got excepted for an exchange trip to Japan which runs for three weeks, starting in the beginning of Japan.





Not at ALL complaining, because Japan is lovely.


But things never seem to work out together, eh?

I love the new Jack Johnson...I can't stop listening to it...I especially love "Constellations."

I think the new Jack Johnson is great, one of those cd's that grew on me, with different favorites evolving over time. Some of the songs I like best of all are off older cds, usually faster ones- but this cd is sweet in
it's own way. I'm going to see him at the gorge in washington this summer, inclusive of sleeping next to
the columbia river for 2 nights. Doesn't get much finer, unless glass took a surprise trek.
