Mofro is a band from Florida who play some mean redneck front porch funk. These boys are bad and their live shows are better. They've opened for Widespread Panic, North Miss All-smileys/smiley10.gif's, BB King and more. Check out their album Blackwater. Lots of piano, slide guitar and soul. You will not be dissappointed.

Heya, there's a couple of Mofro Bit Torrents up at bt.etree.org right now, they sound pretty good too. I used to see Mofro in local Bars in Jacksonville back in the day. I wish they would release some new stuff soon, haven't heard anything since like 2000 or 2001.

Agreed. Mofro rules. They are playing the Langerado Festival again down here in Hollywood Florida, but this time on the main stage. Check out www.langerado.com (http://www.langerado.com) for more info. It was the same festival GLaSS played last year.
