I posted before about how good Citizen Cope is, but I hadn't seen them live yet. Now that I have I can say they are awesome. It has been awhile that I've been that jazzed at a show that wasn't G. Love. The girl that opened for him was good too, Mieka Paulie (I think) kind of like Tristan Prettyman. Anyway I think G. fans will love it, so if they are out your way I suggest getting tickets!!

Missed chance to see CC in February in Chicago with DF. Now you got me thinkin that i really missed out. Damn.
Are you saying Citizen Cope was playing with Donavon Frankenreiter?? If so I'd be pissed that I missed that show too!!smileys/smiley19.gif

Cope's amazing, althought a little monotous throughout his show. It tends to blend together. Thankfully, I dig his sound so much it's not a big deal. If anyone's local to the DC area and want to catch him in an awesome setting, he's playing an acoustic show at Jammin Java in Viennaon April 7. It's a small venue,less than200 people, and should be an awesome night.

did you see him at the 9:30 show? i thought that was anything but...
hopefully he'll come back to the east coast after his freaking long tour of about every other country.
