o my god !! i just saw a comercial for "fat acttress" pour kursty allen(sorry i know i can't spell her name, or any thing for that matter) ya'll know who i'm talking about right? cheers,look whos talking movies, peir 1 commercials. i think you know who i'm talking about any how . pour baby how did they come up to her to do this show , i wonder how the approach went? or maybe she came up w/ the idea. my question is : if you were in her shoes would you do the show knowing that it is called "fat acttress"?

I read an interview with Kirstie and this show. She is really cool.I have new respect for her. She started her career as a hottie and developed this weight problem. Depression, confronted with fears that the career is over, etc. Damn. Imaginebeing forever compared to old images of yourselfas a thin actress. In such a superficial town, it would be overwhelming, I would think. So, when life deals you lemons . . . She's just making lemonade. And not that a weight gain is the end of the world. It shouldn't be, but inthe world where she lives, unfortunately it is everything.

I heard her doing the Jenny Craig commercial on the radio this morning. Dont really know what to say about it. Sounds like she probably has an eating disorder, if she went that crazy about over-eating and is now all about weight loss. Sigh. In Europe it doesnt seem like they have this problem where people eat non-gmo and non-antibioticed foods, and people just stay at a healthy weight. Oh, I also heard that in Europe the food is more expensive and served in smaller portions, like ice cream is like $4.00 for one little scoop. Interesting, no?

The only thing I do know is that she has gotten a lot of shit and angry letters because she pokes fun at bulimics. (sp?) They don't think that a disease like that should be looked at like a joke.

Everyone in europe is skinny because they all smoke like 3 packs of ciggs. a day. Everyone smokes over there. They smoke in the shower, while eating crumpets and tea, while working out.

I get up at 4 A.M. to excercise, lift and run.

I have nothing against gay or fat people but to glorify it on tv is just wrong! And yes I am a father of an 8 yr old girl and want to smash the tv when ads come on for those shows.
