Summer shows...?

What's everybody gonna be checking out this summer? Me; Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic*, Tom Petty/Crowes, Trey Anastasio*, those are definites. Bonnaroo or 10KLakes probable. I am sure some others will come around.

I am going the popish root the next month. I am going to see Jason Mraz, Maroon 5, and Keane before the middle of next month. Then all I have booked is Jack in August. I am hoping to get to 10,000 lakes.

my friends are trying to get me to go to bonnaroo. i haven't made my mind up yet. i don't know if i'd like being around that many people. but i'm leaning towards making the trip, so we'll see.

Yea im not into them huge events.. I like the small venues with good sound.. Most huge concerts I've been to, the sound quality is terrible, and there are so many people its just out of control.

Me too, I mean I would really love to do big fests again, but I can't take to many people any more. I decided against the roo and decided to do Jazzfest simply because it's like a vacation as well..But I know it's still a shit load of people, atleast at night back in the hotel room it can be some what quiet.

Yea, the reason I dont like large crazy concerts, is cause I dont really party any more.. I just grew out of gettin wasted all the time. Now I just go for the music, so I appreciate good sound more than I use to.. Its amazing how happier I have become, and how easier life is when u dont abuse drugs and alcohol.. Amazing..

Yeah it is gonna be a long music week! On top of it I am going to shows at night in New Orleans..My ears will be ringing.smileys/smiley2.gifBut I consider that a good ringing.

well one of my concerts for the summer, was just cancelled. Damn Jason Mraz for having a respiratory infection. I am disppointed. I guess I will just have to get extra hammeredfriday night to make up for the lack of a concert.

Well Panic is this weekend 2 nights, and then Jazzfest, Dmb 9 shows including jazzfest,Keller williams is at night in a venue after jazzzfest w/ galactic, G Love Jazzfest, and opening for dmb,Ray Lamontagne opening for DMB at their festival at Randalls Island, Trey in NYC and at night after jazz fest at a venue,Jack J 2 nights in nyc, and jazzfest, Rusted root on Long Island Ny,Martin Sexton in Virginia,Black crowes and Petty on Long Island, ny,Gov't Mule in NJ and Ny at a fest with Randolph, Medeski Martin and wood, with xavier rudd, Ratdog on LI, Soulive in NYC, and Umphreys mcgee at night after jazzfest and in NYC...Pretty busy summer!
