btw, just in case you didn't know, G. has the same tattoo. (except in
english) Or so I've heard. Couldn't think of anything more
awesome to get. G. has "lemonade" on his arm someone told me... I love
his music & lifestyle and wanted to get the same thing. A
friend convinced me to get it in spanish, cuz its even funnier.
Wonder what G. himself would think of this? Prolly call me a
copy-cattin' bum. Lol. Anyways, peace to all the g.l.a.s.s.
fans here & when the fuck are you guys gonna be done with that
world tour shit and hit up the west coast?

i always wanted to get a tattoo, but i have mixed feelings about it. if i get one, i think imight get a yin yang. i really like the whole concept of it, you know, howthe darkand light compliment each other. i dunno...

I did this on a whim. My first one & im 23. Its all
about preference. IMO, you should get it and enjoy it, because I
don't think you can get one after you're dead & the older you get
the less likely it is you're still gonna want that yin-yang.
However, the older i get the more im gonna regret having it done,
probably. If you're considering it, go for it!

Got one myself. It incorporates my full Irish heritage and my children. If you are going to get a tattoo that you will never regret, two pieces of advice: 1) it should be of somereal, enduringsignificance to you, and not be be part ofsome passing fad, and 2) it should be in a place that can be concealed or revealed at your discretion. You can't tell the future, and that right-wing-nazi job interviewer for yourdream job 10 years from now might not look too kindly on that scorpion on your neck! IMO

I don't think tattoos are for me, but my favorite tattoo story is when one of my college roommates got her boyfriends name in a heart shaped tatoo on her ass. Needless to say they broke up and she had to get the heart filled with a dark color.

i got a few tatoos. I have one on my foot... hurt like hell. and then another on my ass. I have had the one on my ass done like 3 times. I was never happy with the color. now it is tie-died. i'm happy with it.

i got one on my lower back [over the nerve sack pretty much] back in january..it was pretty painful [evencompaired to child birth lol]lots of little electric shocks ofpain shooting thru my body for an hour was a totally interesting experience.
i'd do it all over again and then some in a heartbeat tho smileys/smiley17.gif

Yeah, i wonder how significant this will be in the coming years.
It is easily concealable though - its pretty high up on my arm and can
be covered by a short-sleeve t-shirt. Oh well not much i can do
now. :)

I have a yellow dancing bear on the small of my back and I didn't think it hurt too much.. I have another on my lower right stomach of a star and a leo clef in, that didn't hurt either. I'm getting another on my foot so we'll have to see if that's going to be scary pain at all. ouch... I"m addicted to tattoos, the bear was carefully thought out two years before I had it done. A week after my 18th birthday I was getting it done smileys/smiley14.gif, it's awesome and I love it.

I wanna get a tattoo of a 4 leaf clover with the first letter of mine and my sisters' names (there's 3) in each leaf in celtic letters and a celtic knot in the middle. That incorporates my irish heritage and my sisters which are very important to me.

I have none, but have considered getting about six or seven. I think my biggest problem is trusting someone enough to do it. I am such a perfectionist when it comes to art, etc... I decided if I ever do get one it will be done by Jack Hammer tatoos in Amsterdam. He does all the Chili Peppers tatoos.
Anyway, I priced getting my last name across my back like the "SUBLIME" cover art. 80 $ per letter, 9 letters in my last name, 800$. It would be worth it. I really like the octopus tatoos John and Chad have from RHCP, thought about a bigoctopus in the middle of my upper back. Thought about a sweet, detailed shamrock with "MOM" bannered across it, like the traditional heart. Mom very Irish, dad very Italian. A couple others I designed...maybe someday.
