i'd say "yeah it's that easy". and if you're big on jack johnson maybe even get "the hustle". it's probably one of the more 'sing songy' type albums he has. get the self titled one if you like just real chill kinda mood music. if you're more into the rap thing get philadelphonic, it also has rodeo clowns on it. hope that helps.

Don't be a tight wad and get them all. They all serve a different purpose! smileys/smiley2.gif

Definitely start with his first album. Then just work your way up to the Hustle. It will be a real progresion listening them in that order rather than jumping around. There is very noticeable change/growth from album to album.

this is funny cuz G always sings that song Change~"i can't change, i can't change, i can't change"~ and he always talks about how love never changes but even if he can't see the progression everyone can hear it~Bravo~keep my rock n' ride alive!

I think I am the only one who likes the Hustle the best, my other favorites are self titled and yeah it's that easy.

ben04, hold that head high! This shit is all subjective. And time has a way of changing perspective, anyway. I once thought Electric Mile was somewhat weak. Now I find myself enjoying itmore and more. So, nobody's right or wrong. If you love the Hustle, then by all means, love the Hustle.

Besides, all of their stuff beats most artists' best.

Im not saying which album is better, but I would say that if you are all together a new fan, start from the beginning and watch the progression...

If you saw GLaSS with Jack Johnson, it was a shorter show with more songs from the hustle so I suggest you begin with the hustle, you will not be disappointed.

here my classement of the moment

the hustle

philadelphonic

self titled

electric mile

coast to coast

i'm going to sound like a dumb ass, but what ever...a little while ago i downloaded some ep's (i think thats what they are called) like Kickin back and baby why. these songs kick ass, so why aren't they on a cd. and what exactly is an ep

ben04
05-11-2005, 04:56 PM
an ep is an extended player it is just a cd that has few songs on it and general is not commercial released by a record company (although I can think of a few exceptions of that). Regular cd are also known LPs(long play) I don't know if there is more of an explanation but that is what I know.

I like coast to coast best i guess but it certainly is hard to have favorites in the music world...i love it when glassss played with the brass band...i love brass bands the most but i'm biased.

I've been listening to Yeah Its That Easy a lot lately but I wouldn't
say it's my fav. I go through phases of each one since they're
all so good.
