So the other day a girl was talking to me and mentioned that g. love
and jack johnson were brothers..I've never heard that before and I'm
curious if this is true?

No they are not brothers, but they are close.
This comes from the Feb. 2005 issue of "Steppin' Out" magazine,the Feb. 2005issue...that was cancelled.
"After recording "Rodeo Clowns" in 1999, and being friends and "surfing buddies" for a while before that, Jack and Garrett made what is called a "Life-Commitment" and became "Life Partners" in the Spring of 2001. There were two ceremonies in which rings and vows were exchanged, the first being in Garrett's hometown of Philadelphia PA, the secondin Jack'shometown on theHawaiian Island. Bothceremonies were very hush-hush and low key...only family members and very close friends, including Special Sauce, were in attendance.
Along with all of this in 2001, and after their relationship had be given time to blossom and grow through the next few years, there was a major development, and further "Life-Committment," made while together on the Brushfire Tour last fall. While touring Europe, and between shows inRome and Berlin, Jack and Garrett were finally able to take the final stepin the their relationship. In a small outdoor meadow, at a 14th century Castle in theSwiss town of St. Moritz, Jack Jonhson and Garrett Dutton were officially...married."
I have more detail if you would like it, but I think I have told enough for now. Most here will tell you this is untrue, and that I am completely wrong, but it is only because this information is only known by a few, not to be exposed to the masses.You can believe everything I have said, and have complete confidence in me mainly because...I am G. Love's younger brother.
