For sure =) They aren't that great live, unfortunately, compared to their studio albums.....

My old boss gave me tix to see them in Chicago with STP as an opener. Had a pretty great time. Didn't hurt that everything was FREE!!!
i saw them in Camden. They were good, and fleas an amazing bassist. I like there old funky stuff the most. Gotta give it up for the funk.

I think Red Hot Chili Peppers are like the "Areosmith" Of our generation! They have already proved that they can change with the times. I definitely agree that there old sh*t was way funkier and had more of a punk feel, but they have pulled off a real mellow, laid back style, and I don't think that's a bad thing either.

I read somewhere that Rick Rubin who produced the album By The Way came up with the idea of By The Way being a generally mellow album. They are going to release a new album sometime next year. If anyone is looking for some good sh*t, pick up Red Hot Chili Peppers Live At Slane DVD or Greatest Hits CD/DVD.

"By the Way" is a really good c.d. And "by the way" Mr. CLEAN, I will always enjoy listening to Aerosmith.There music will always remind me of my childhood.

I don't care what you listen to. Aerosmith is the poor man's Rolling Stone, and their sound and stlyewere totally unoriginal. RHCP are the most original and influential group of the eighties and nineties, (along with Beastie Boys), and they prove what agreat band they are by evolving and changing with the time and their ages. Hell, Anthony and Flea are over forty. You can only wear socks on your cocks and sing "I Want to Party on Your Pussy" for so long.
