very nice, I like the physical form you have created, but I suggest some sort of shellac or agent of preservation.

Thanks! It's too late to preserve it I'm afraid. This thingamajig was
made maybe six months ago and dried up in a few hours. Too bad we
didn't take any pictures when it was all dark and dried up!

when i was about 16 I had a turtle, not too big, not too small- but, one day he died.my mom was horrified to come in my room a few weeks later to find a decomposing turtle on my window sill. My rational was I wanted to dry out his little body, so it would fall out (or scoop out-eewwwww) of the shell. Then I could drill a hole at the top and wear him as a necklace. Parents just don't understand. To be honest, 15 years later, I really don't understand, just remembering the facts of the case.
