Lottery: What and Why???

I know nothing about G.'s side project "Lottery." Just wondering if anyone has any info, and what it is all about. I can't imagine that it is too different from GLaSS.

Here’s the deal. Its two-piece—G. Love (Electric Guitar and Harmonica) and Chuck Treece (Philly Legend/Drums).

Its always tuff putting music into words but I would call Lottery a more rock side of G. Love. At the shows the band mostly plays original Lottery songs so if you coming looking to hear Cold Beverage you won’t be seeing it at a Lottery show.

I think the biggest thing that Lottery is, is just another outlet for the band and G. Love to be creative and not be bound to what they do in their other projects.

Although not billed as Lottery, Chuck and G appear together on the Family 2 Compilation, which is an album to benefit the Bendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund. The song they sing is "Stick-Up", which G has performed a few times in the past, and it kicks ass.

he was a friend who passed away from cancer when he was young. every year there is a benefit weekend at the shore in Avalon, NJ. Surfing contest, bands on the beach, beef and beer, surf movie night, and a bunch of other stuff. all the money benefits the high tides memorial fund for pediatric leukemia. A great organization, a great friend. G has played a bunch of times, as have I and our friends that have bands. check the link above. The album is great, there are two of them now, check it out.
