clapton is publishing his memoirs. That is going to be so sweeet, reading stories from a man who has experianced all the up and downs of such a long musical career. Jammed in some legandary bands and rocked with jimi hendrix. Rock on.

Definitely a wish list item in 2007. One of the most gifted, and often mis- and under-used guitarists, IMO. I love his early stuff so much more than the last 20 years. As always, thanks ramble.

Favorite guitarist ever...period. Picked up the Cream reunion DVD's recently, and The Concert For Bangladesh DVD's over the weekend (Clapton was a guest along with Dylan, others). Seen him live 3 times. Thanks for the info Ramble!
