I vote for Flea!


Les and VW are both excellent bass players and use excellent technique, but I think that Flea's bass lines are melodic are beautiful while never being "too much".


*btw cleanface I thought that i was supposed to vote out of the 3 you posted....either way flea is my favorite bass player.

Les Claypool is my favorite, and I actually got to meet him once, very cool guy. Wooten, Entwhistle&Flea I agree with. But everyone forgot about Jaco!!!!

Yeah, I definitely agree with Flea and Les Claypool. I also really like the bassist from Robert Randolph and the Family Band, but his name just slipped my mind...
