hey - i love G love and their work with Jack... obsessed! I am always looking for new bands or artist- there seems to be a lack.... i just wanted to know if any one could give me the heads up on something great to check out.... i have been listening to Matisyahu, who is fairly new, but i dunno how i feel about him. What do you guys think?? yah! or nay?? has any one seen him live?? let me kno ur thoughts on all of the above! thanks!

Matisyahu rocks!!!! Welcome to the board by the way. Check out Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Bargin Music, or The Ziggens,I could go on, but if you haven't check any of them out, do so.

yeah, if you like the reggae thing, id say slightley stoopid for shure. get the closer to the sun album because every single song is good. one of my favorite albums of all time! Matisyahu is cool but im pretty much over it and ive seen him live, but thats my opinion. ziggens are pretty punkish but they have a lot of gems. the Expandebles are totally cool if ya wanna check them out. if your into the whole jack scene, you should look at donavon frankenreiter if you havent. he is easy to listen to, and doesnt take a lot of time to really start liking.


another reggae band that is cool is mishka. he is on myspace if you wanna hear his songs. they are laid back but still intreaging. check out skunk.com for lots of cool bands. they are all pretty good.


by the way if you havent heard much of G. loves stuff, you need to. i would start with the hustle. it is a great cd. philadelphonic is also a good place to start.
