Not yet. They really haven't even made an official announcement about song names, cover art etc...all we really officially know is it will be a double album called Stadium Arcadium.

They are putting together a new website right now that will be launching soon, and will be full of info.

That was my initial reaction, WTF?!?! smileys/smiley7.gif

But, I have changed my opinion after consideration and thought. I absolutely love it. Seriously. I think it's completely fucking brilliant. It's so ridiculously stupid that I think it's honestly completely genius.

They hitus with something that nobody expected. It's a twist that we didn't see and I consider it to be a straight upbrilliant cover because of that. It's bold and different and luminescent and that's what I want. Different from anything they've ever done, or anyone has ever done for that matter.

Hopefully the music inside will make it an all-time classic/recognizable cover like Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik's and Californication's. Cali's cover was very boring at first, but the music inside made it a classic. imo...

By now, I've got no ticket.saw them a couple of years ago at the same location (Bercy, Paris) and the sound was so awful, guitar and singing completely inaudible.http://www.philadelphonic.com/forum/smileys/smiley6.gifand all the concerts i've seen in this place had a really bad sound (and expensive ticket). I expect the new cd is more "nervous" than the prior and perhaps that will convince me to go.http://www.philadelphonic.com/forum/smileys/smiley14.gif

This my first time hearing the entire "Dani California." It's been quite some time since I have been this excited for a new disc. Maybe since the Hustle.

BTW...concerning the album...

"Stadium Arcadium will also be available in a limited-edition black box that includes the 28-song, two-CD set, plus a DVD with the "Dani California" video and behind-the-scenes "making of the video" footage; a one-hour band interview; a 28-page booklet; original artwork by the band; and "special space-age discoveries."

FYI - I post on another music message board (not rhcp) with many people who H A T E GLove & SS and I do these hypes of updates and promos for GLaSS all the time. Get shit on and run off about 75%, but some there dig them...some. It's wierd because GLASS has opened for this band many times too.

WELL WELL WELL, after 6 months of keeping my tickets safe, i FINALLY got to see them :) :)

they were AWESOME!!! Flea played the trumpet and Anthony was a crazy mutha tripping all over the stage....FABULOUS!!! :D:D

Best bit? The instrumentals between songs...I'm guessing they don't do well talking between them, but the instrumentals were SO good, it was better than hearing them crap on!

FUN FUN FUN duke!!! I haven't seen them in a while, but my sister just took her 11 year old to see them in Chicago. They, being a bit goofy like me, I had to send m4as of Thirty Dirty Birds and Yurtle the Turtle.

RHCP moment I'll never forget...I think it was the tour for Mothers Milk? It was at the Riv in Chicago, and just when they started getting popular. I was used to orderly pits, not ones full of drunken frat boys. I was at the stage as usual, and right when they came out I got a face full of flea, and by that I mean little flea....I wasn't amused.

I knew they were on 'hiatus' and hadn't heard anything about them reuniting. Just small interviews here and there with John and Chad, but nothing from Flea or Anthony. And in his interview John was acting weird and vague. Peeps on the RHCP boards were talking about them being broken up for good, that John and Anth were fighting again, that John was leaving again, etc. etc. etc.

Doesn't sound very firm, but either way...GREAT NEWS!!! New Cleanface baby > New RHCP album???!!! :D
