I think I'm going to a midnight sale tonight. Old-school style!

It has some very great songs, especially "better ways" and the funky songs. "get it like..."looks like a good Black crows song, "the way you found me "is a surprising jazzy song, "serve your soul" has a led zep vibehttp://www.philadelphonic.com/forum/smileys/smiley10.gif.But I would have prefer only one Cd with a mix of all the 18 songs. the second Cd is too much quiet for me (the long time fans surely prefer the quiet cd).

Shit, Wal-Mart, Kroger, Wal-Greens, etc...are open 24/7.
Actually, I went to a little local indie music shop that stays open late only on Monday's so peeps can pick up the new releases early. Also, they had the Deluxe version with the bonus disc so you may be able to get it from wherever you go to buy the album.
Soundin' damn good so far...smileys/smiley16.gif

The first disc is funky, I sense a but of Motown in it. The second disc is damn good, softer stuff.
I tell ya, this stuff is waaay different from everything else he has put out. I'm diggin' it though.

Really Clete??? That sucks. I am actually digging the softer discmore than the more upbeat, even though both are very good.

'gather round the stone' is awsome, but i dont know, bens soft stuff is just too heavy for me lately. i have to really want to listen to it, ya know.
after a few listen, the softer dischas grown on me and I like it much better now than at the first listen. hey Clete, give it a second chance.
