I live in Victoria b.c Canada. I just saw G love and Special Sauce in a small bar..not even 300 people.It was hand s down the best show i've ever seen.I got everything I expected to see.What a great show .The BEST part was when i yelled for Lay down the Law and he said here's a special request and played Lay Down the Law for me.I don't think he was gonna play it but he busted it out as a request..G>>>You da MAN!!

I hope the days of seeing GLASS in a small bar never goes away!! I would love to see them open up for DMB this summer but it just wouldn't be the same.

I am afraid those days might be near us. It seems like every band that opens for DMB blows up shortly there after.

Its sucks... because you want like your favorite bands to blow up--- and get rich and make money and for everyone to hear and love what you hear and love.... but at the same time....

some bands still do some of the smaller venues even when they get big. maybe not as often, but i got to see moe paly at jake's toadhouse one time. it holds about 300 people max, and my husband has played there!

i want the guys to have it all and get all the recognition they
deserve, but i'm more of a selfish bitch and don't want the small,
cheap, "personal" shows to end!
