I like some of this stuff on CD, but I have a feeling that live it would just kick ass, being a whole orchestra of type. I just found out they are playing the Stern Grove Festival in San Fransico, just around the time I'll be there for my friends Harper and Marley. sweet.

An aside, but this festival is awesome (like totally tubular). It goes from mid june to the end of august.
Free shows, in this park/ampitheatre, the mission to bring arts to the people. and that's why I had to use the word awesome because that is, making people feel good as the main purpose.

I can't believe I wrote 'tubular'. I know we're trying to be a supportive phamily and all, but sometimes I deserve to be made fun of...don't worry, don't feel bad, I know it. when you talk as much shit as I do, it can't all be good.

do you know how many times i've thought that. i've often wondered,"has anyone noticed that i'll talk to a hole in the wall, yet?"

yeah I'm bumping these guys back up, they kicked it on the sublime dvd, I love the horns. They did April 29th for their cover, they also played one of their own 'Saturday night' which looked like a party on stage, great stuff. It's the first song on their myspace page...listen..

I might get to see them at that stern grove festival, but I have a feeling I'm going to be soooo broke after going to vegas, that I'll have to sell my tickets to harper/marley and stay home...maybe lady luck will shine her favor on me and I'll be rich beyond my wildest dreams...ha ha...not likely, but I'm going to keep watching the tour dates

And although, not on here, I know they are playing the commodore ballroom in Vancouver BC on Nov 26 (I'll be there) and at the Showbox in Seattle on the 25th. Maybe there are other dates too, they don't seem too on top of keeping stuff up to date.

Okay, these guys deserve a bump up for a few obvious reasons...
But their music really is pretty awesome, and that's reason enough.

Also, today you have a chance to check them out live via the AT&T Webcast from Coachella....

Yeah, that's right, Coachella's going on RIGHT NOW!!! And our very own Barefoot is hopefully there!
(Did anyone ever hear if she got the tix or not?)

They have live webcasts (http://attblueroom.com/events/coachellaschedule.php) going on starting around 3pm PST...and they're doing it again tomorrow (Sunday).

I went on Friday and it was awesome-- and way too hot! I was wondering the same thing about the Coachella Contest-- did they ever come through with the tickets for the winners? I forgot about it once I lost....

OZO on the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson - May 3rd

That's CBS, y'all. Check your local listings. Show starts at 12:30am EST...same time as Conan, but I am kind of really digging Craig these days, when I catch him.
