what event is in your near future that has you the most excited?

personally it's my birthday (p.f. chang's for some gluten free chinese food! it's been about a year since i've had any.)
then a few days later we'll be leaving for bonaroo! can't wait to have some more tent sex! it's always interesting to see if anyone in the area is aware of what's going on. i've overhear some funny comments from our neighbors in years past.

for me, its the GLASS show memorial day weekend in columbia, MO. i havent seen a show since october on xingolati, so i am very excited. also, that same weekend i am moving from detroit to columbia, so thats exciting too.

My husband and I are celebrating our 7th anniversary next week. What a long strange trip that has been!smileys/smiley17.gifPlan onheading back to beautiful Lake Tahoe to where we got married for some much needed r&r without the kids.


Heading out next month for some camping on the beautiful Northern California coast! Gonna take the skittles to see the ocean for their very first time. smileys/smiley16.gifFigure we'll camp a night or two in the redwoods and wrap up the week in a nice little inn along the coast somewhere.

I just got in. Small venue--150 peeps. Front row. Played "I Tried" on request. Scored the set list. MC cool enough to sign after. Chilled withafter. His show? Fucking phenomenal. One humble guy. Great voice. You will love him.

And yes Ragmop I am going to indy for the dmb/glass show! I think my friend taylor is going to make the trip with me. Did you decide to come as well? I am very happy to hearyour glowing review of the matt costa show! The venue I am going to see him at is also very small, not quite as small as your show though, 300 i think. I have a late field trip with school (day before the last day of school so we are going to an amusment park) so I am going to get there a little bit later then I want, but hopefully I will be as luck as you and get a front row spot! Def. post the pictures! I would love to see them!!

Monday July 10, I think? I am def thinking about it. First cuz of your recommendation, but second b/c this venue is so sweet. Small, 250 ppl max capacity. Have now seen TP and Matt Costa there. It is literally a corner bar with a small stage in a back room.

Ahhhh...good to be back. Nice, wonderful, relaxing trip to the Gulf of Mexico. Not too much partying, so I don't have to recover from my vacation. Now I have the Black Crowes in Louisville next week, and soon GLaSS and DMB to look forward to. Yee-ya!
