first one39x35 cm
second 127x127 (one of my favorities of his)
third 80x73 cm
the one i'm working on it 30x40 inches. it's still in the very begining stages. it's cool for me to read about mondrian because of how he painted, very clean-very opposite of me, and to see the influence he had. the ones above, and his others along the same vein, he refered to as compositions instead of paintings. he is also created by many as being the father of graphic design. his composition is what always grabs me. that is the main influence i'm taking in the painting i'm working on. i'll have the bold black lines, but plan on doing a variety of abstract and other images in the spaces. should be interesting when it's done.

shows what a keen artistic eye I have, I was trying to pick the one that was yours. I like the way they look. I sure don't have enough patience, or attention to detail to do that. I have a hard time even masking off the window frame when I'm painting a wall.

i shouldn't assume people are as familiar with art history as i am. not everyone had late night slide cram sessions.

it's finally done. took me long enough, but i just finished it. here are some crappy photos. our digital camera can't get a good focus on the painting.
