so woman wrote my husband and i a letter saying she wants to buy our house?! she addressed it to me in my madien name, which is how it's listed on the mortgage. kinda weird.

was it hand written, typed or typed "handwriting"?
a lot of construction companies, mortgage lenders and banks do shit
like that to make money. and they totally jack you out of a lot of
money in the process. if it was the names you used on the mortgage,
it's probably a bank or another mortgage company.

Sauce is right...it sounds a bit dodgy...we get letters from real estate peoples all the time saying that they think we could get a LOT of money for our house if we sold it etc etc....

it was handwritten on a piece of lined yellow legal paper. it looked like an older woman's handwriting. it has an e-mail address, so we're going to e-mail and try to find out more info.
