Man the new Donavon album is so freakin' funky!! It seems like leaving Brushfire Records put some soul into his music. Instead of sounding like a Jack Johnson imitator, he sounds like someone straight out of the 70's soul/funk. I know he used to be in a band called Sunchild that sort of had this same sound. I think it suits him better. Check it out when you have the time. I know it's not out in the states until early June, but the Aussies and Japanese are lucky enough to get it already. why?? Some Australian stuff hits your shelves before it hits ours....
