and please knock these F***ing wisdom teeth out of my head!! I am so miserable. smileys/smiley19.gifSerious infection, dizzy spells and P-A-I-N are making my life hell this week. I have decided that the vicodin is good for the spirits but I can't say it's doing anything for the pain.

Any of you been through this and have any suggestions? Anything to stop the constant, throbbing pain? I mean come on, I like a little pain now and then as much as the next gal but this is freaking ridiculous.

I am going out of my mind and maybe that wasn't so far in my future anyways smileys/smiley2.gif but seriously you get the point........

Ummmm...get them removed?

I had a wisdom tooth that was killing me for a couple weeks about a month ago. It had broken, and was infected/cavity. Killing me for days!!! Went to the dentist > 2 shots to the gums> ripped it > Vicoden for the pain. Took 30 minutes total, and about 30 seconds for him to pull the tooth. Felt so good afterwards...Get them yanked!!!

ok so after my morning rant I got to see the oral surgeon and he wants to remove them asap but can'ttouchthem until I have been on antibiotics for at least another week smileys/smiley5.gif

Oh man I hope it's that easy for me. Mr. C, you give me hope it won't beas bad as all the horror stories people tell you about having them yanked. smileys/smiley14.gifI just gotta figure out what to do for relief until then.......

thanks smileys/smiley31.gif

i feel for you, girl. im really lucky, mine all came in, straight, plenty of room. im still considering having them pulled because they are so hard to clean though, and i dont want to get a horrible cavity that causes lots of pain.

and i hope the surgery goes easy for you! at least they usually give the good meds. vicodin and percocet work the best, but im allergic to them. they kill the pain, but then i itch horribly. almost my entire body. boo itching, yay drugs that work well! good luck! smileys/smiley31.gif

i had surgery to remove mine about 9 years ago. it went easy. i had been in a car accident the week before and had a fractured sternum at the same time. the pain wasn't bad at all after the surgery. i was eating normal food the next day, just in smaller bits. i'm sure all will go fine for you!smileys/smiley31.gif

My goodness, Tink! Ok I will totally quit whining about my teeth now. smileys/smiley5.gifWhen it comes to the dentist I am a total coward and I get completely freaked out. smileys/smiley11.gif

ewww, not me. give me a filling any day. my scottish grandpa doctor, a speculum, a swab, ky jelly...which he goes through the ineffectual motion of wiping off with kleenex for me after, really more a pat pat. By the time I hit the parking lot with my prize (a prescription for a year of birth control pills) my panties are slimed with water based lubricant.

compared to that, I love the dentist.

Got those babies taken care of yesterday, finally!

Hooray for gas! Being a "sedation-virgin"I wasn't sure what to expect but those are some crazay vapors. The ol' Ipod was set to random but I swear for over an hour the only song I heard was Blues Music again & again & again. The only thing I remember about the whole visit was "sway to sway, sway to sway, sway to sway, sway to sway....." and "blues muuuusssaaaac, muuuusssaaaac, muuuusssaaaac".

Maybe it was Sway's random post about her sunshiny weekend adventure and Blues Music that planted the seed earlier in the day. I must have been thinking about ya girlie.smileys/smiley2.gif

nah, my bet is you were just high...same difference, like a common demoninator- but still flattering.
Glad you're on the way to feeling better.

Mr. C, you can have em! smileys/smiley11.gif The vicodin wasn't cutting it so they bumped me up to darvocet. They get me high as a kite but make me sick. I am just sooo releived to have it all over with.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts smileys/smiley31.gif
