canadian sailors know how to party lmao
it's fleet week during portland's big rose festival and since in the 25
years i've lived here, i've never seen the ships come in, i went and
watched yesterday. while waiting for the last two ships to come in, i
met some cool, random lady and we decided to meet back up last night
downtown to party with the sailors. we started out looking for some of
the american sailors, but the canadians were way more friendly and
invited us back to their frigate lol and they are some crazy mother
f'ers.
but did you know they have full bars on their ships?!
and big ass pannel tvs and leather couches?!
if it wasn't such a fucking maze inside the ship, i so would have been like, i'm moving in!
tho best part, i'd have to say, is when i learned the guy that was
playing bartender is a huge fan of glass. said he had most all of their
songs on his computer at home. he said he hasn't seen them live, tho,
so i told him it is a must.
