unless he surprises you with a 30gb video ipod!

after having to spend my birthday money on vacation (and getting all of a cd for my birthday,) my husband spends all his overtime and bonus money on mesmileys/smiley4.gifsmileys/smiley4.gifsmileys/smiley4.gif!

the best thing is within a few hours of having it, i already have over 2400 songs on it!

What a nice surprise; your baby is sweet! I like to go the public library every so often - it's a great way to get music free. I've also gotten good deals on iTunes gift certificates on eBay... enjoy your new toy!

Very cool Tink...good man! They are completely badass.

I am still putting off getting the IPod only because I can't justify spending that much on one yet...I don't really know when I would use it. My GF was going to buy mea 60gfor XMas but I told her not to for that reason. I figure I'll wait a little while till they get up to 80g or 100g and then I will eventually break down and get one.

I guess I just still like getting the CD's and the packaging and loading them in old school style, for now anyway. Just imagine what our kids will be listening to music on, and how they will be buying albums.

yeah I think that too...cuz I remember having an MD when they were 'cool' and no one had one...and now everyone has the ipod (i have the nano)...imagine in 10 years when our kids are born...it's kinda like mobile phones I guess...i didn't get mine till I was 17 but kids as young as 12 have them now...

But, as you say, I prefer the CD...I can listen to them in my car without having to plug in my itrip...hmmm

Tink, great man you have there...I love getting surprises http://www.philadelphonic.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif
