I'm not sure how long this has been out, but I'd definately recommend it. I laughed soooo hard and the music was unbelievable, I was blown away by the skill and all the musical combos. Feelin like I need to go get some more Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Jill Scot, maybe even the Dead Prez.

was the focus more on comedy or music? i'll watch it either way, but my husband isn't into hip hop. just wondering if i need to watch it when he's away.

I'd say 50-50. If he doesn't like the music, it'd be a lot of waiting for the other. he might like this hip hop though, some really cool fusions, they had a marching band, a jazz band, the live music couldn't have went with it more perfectly. (in my humble opinion)
