Well well well I'm TRYING TO GET TO MY TOUR!!!!

My flight was delayed from Boston to Atlanta so I would’ve missed my connection to Corpus Christie, TX--I got rebooked on an American Airlines flight by my lovely travel agent Sharon and once again I was sprinting through airport terminals trying to make the departure lounge. I'm almost positive my bags won't make it. Of course my stage clothes and clean underwear, socks and tees are in my bags, along with my toothbrush, deodorant and various creams, lotions, jellies, oils, powders and the like. Not to mention that my favorite Gibson acoustic J45, signed by Slash and Steve Jonesy of the Sex Pistols is still missing after 3 days from my Madrid-Philly flight…USAir sucks!!!! I'm gonna be a dirty, stanking, no guitar-havin-freewheeling-bob deeling-hip-hop-bluesman. And that's a life with no goddamn luggage...

At any rate, I'm off to my first show, playing for the first time in Corpus Christie, TX. We are on to our second GLaSS of the LEMONADE tour. This first week brings us back to the exciting Austin City Limits fest…always a favorite of mine.

Subliminal side note interjection…The last day of our last tour in Montreal I sat in with Ben Harper did I mention that?? I also got some dope new rare purple Air Stabs from Bodega in B-Town and 2 fresh CD’s by Edan the DJ

Back to present times...

We have a new bus with our old driver Brad. At first we thought he was a crystal meth head but after closer scrutiny, he was just a friendly good-old-boy and a solid driver at that. So now my illustrious band will be riding once more in style.

My son started kindergarten today, proud father I am. I had to be there and that is why I'm running a little late to the gig. But I've got to be a good Dad ya know.

I'm starting the set tonight with Banger. The new record is holding strong, the band is tight, the time is now, I'm reading Herman Mellvilles "Moby Dick" and cooped up on this sh#**y plane so excuse the ramblings. I'm out.

PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST - GO EAGLES

Aw I just got to experience my son's first day of kindergarten myself. What a phabulous daddy you are. So glad you didn't miss it and it'll make all the rest of the day's troubles seem all that much more worth while.

Hi--a pal from austin, who was a huge fan& claimed to be so psyched for the shows, sadly, tragically took her own life. I am putting out a request for G. to offer a song for her, Amanda, duringn his set in Austin Sunday. Prayers & Peace!

My little one started kindergarten herself recently. They grow so fast don't they. As for those airlines they can never make it easy. My sister in law lost some of her baggae on they way home from bagdad, they got re-routed back to Bagdad with my brother. wtf? Hopes for safe travels on your tour and that the luggage trouble is the worst of your worries. One Love. Hope we can catch you on the road!

cannot freaking wait till ACL and your show at La Zona Rosa. hope corpus treated you well and im glad you dropped off the crazy texan bus driver.

That's awesome that you were there for your bot's first day of school-I know quite a few dad's that didnt make it to their kids first day of school and their job isnt nearing as demanding on their time/travel schedule as yours is.

So glad you caught that flight G. It was my first time to finally see you live tonight at La Zona Rosa, after about 8 or so years of you being my favorite artist. I have some battle wounds from your show however... went to catch your harmonica and it dropped to the floor in front of the fence, so I kept on going with it over the fence. Wripped my favorite yellow dress, however got myself a shiny new F key harmonica!! Pretty sweet. The girl next to me wasn't too happy, but hey you gotta live while you're here.

Thank you for sharin' your beautiful soul up there tonight. Truly, so talented... baby's got chops!! Great show, amazing music, makin it happen!! Thank you my friend.

Love and light,
Juliet
