so we just barried my godmother last Tuesday from unoperable stage 4 ovarian cancer. last night, exactly 9 days later, her husband was taken to the hospital b/c people he was with thought he was having a stroke. it turns out it wasn't a stroke, but he has unoperable/terminal cancerous brain tumors which are secondary to some other cancer that they have yet to locate. they don't expect him to live past a few weeks now. i'm not supposed to tell any family friends yet, so i had to vent somehow.

my brain just cannot grasp this. i just keep picturing their empty house and thinking about how quickly this seemingly healthy couple is/will be wiped off of this earth. cancer is crazy and i'm so tired of thinking about death. :(

Aw honey, I am truly sorry to hear your news. Sounds like your family has been through a lot already and I cannot imagine what you must be going through. I am not so tough when it comes to bad news **insert head under pillow**insert head into hole in ground**plugs ears and hums loudly** Although I'm not sure what to say, please know that we care and you and your family are in our hearts and thoughts. >>>HUGS<<<

I'm very sorry...Not to diminish what you're going through, but if I'd lived a whole life with someone, I might consider it a blessing to go shortly after them and not be missing them for years and years.
