"and I feel fine"
and I'm just lyin.
I was driving to work this morning, Sunday 8ish, ain't too much going on in my town: church hasn't started, the Mon-Fri crowd is lazing at home, a few old people out walking their dogs, or running zealots darting through the streets, and a smattering of crack/meth drones doing the chicken walk (that's head down, bobs up, bobs down, scratch the ground with their foot, occasionally bend over to inspect some rock like fragment. I'd say it's about 4-6 foot scratches to each item more closely scrutinized-that's the 'peck peck' part). sidetrack
So when there are so few cars on the road that I have to take notice of each one going by, my mind always wanders to the game- Calamity Aftermath. Imagine if there has been some sort of devestating event, natural or otherwise, in which most of the population is wiped out. This leaves stragglers from here and there, instinctually seeking out other human contact. So, I look at the faces I see in the cars and I imagine, what if that was one of the people I had to make a new community with. What about that one? What about that one? What would happen? Would I be able to coexist with that one? Would I just end up excommunicated? Would I leave by my own heed? Would I make it on my own? Or maybe I'd like this group of cockroach humans alongside me? Who knows?
Then I pull up to the parking lot at work and the game is over.
