View Full Version : drink up?

I've been detoxifying myself for 3 weeks now. My goal was to clean myself up, so I could get extra down & dirty, or is that high & mighty, for my night out in the big city next week to see the glass. Well, of course, that wasn't really the purpose of purification, the purpose would be betterment of self- but extra leverage gettin up and gettin down ain't a bad little perk.

Anyway, now I'm a little torn... I saw a recipe for a delicious sounding drink today:
vanilla vodka
real lemonade
pineapple juice
blended up in the blender with a little ice so it gets all frothy and creamy.

I'm not really a 'just one' kinda girl and I kinda would like to get drunk.
No matter...enough of my inconsequential dithering.

What's your poison/pleasure this fine and lovely evening?
anyone? anyone?

i'm all about the wine tonight. been a long week and i have the day off tomorrow!! means i can unwind and not worry about what time i wake up. i saw a wine brand called mad housewife the other day and i had to get it. not to bad.

yeah. wine is easy. i have to watch what alcohol i drink, mostly with liquors. and they don't put ingredients on the package. wine is an easy yes. but tonight it's a red.

oh, i live with a beer snob. he favors pale ales. he's friends with a few home brewers. i like to try to buy him a specialty brand sometimes. i think it's cool when i can pick him a good beer, even though i can't drink it:o

I am still master of my pure domain. I didn't even have a drink, went to bed early, went to the gym this morn' for a 4 mile jog. Yes...I am the champion (of my own little world). Although, that drink is gonna taste real good next Saturday.

a friend of mine's husband is a brew master and even has a degree from Germany. he used to brew for labatt in Canada, but now brews for bell's beer in michigan. love visiting them and the beer. but my drink of choice is either red wine or tanqueray and tonic.

well the house of cards has fallen my friends. something about getting fucked up on a sunny Sunday, does it to me every time. For some people it's the Friday night, but I can do without all the anticipation, expectation, hormonal urges- Sunday is all about just getting fucked for the pure fun of it, everyone else be damned.

i especially enjoy a sunday drink because of the stupid liqour laws in the south (not being able to buy it except at resturants, and you have only been able to get a drink in resturants for about the past 7-8 years.)

I even bought a pack of smokes, I mean I know I'm a masochist when it's fun to be, like spank me baby- but quitting smoking again and again 100 million types is serious not fun masochism. I try to do right and be right and make right, but I am just a poor little humble fumble human, doin it again and again. We only do what we can when we are able, that's what I tell myself.

"I've been hearing that she's been giving that stuff out to all those graffiti guys.

Yo, shut the fuck up Chico man.

Professor, what's another word for pirate treasure.

Well, I think it's booty
booty
booty

That's what it is"

fuckin Itunes, I had a little pixie blue hair cut when this song came out, driving a toyota spray painted red green and gold.
love how a song is like a snapshot of time better than any picture.

well, the smoking part was a few weeks- as long as I don't party too much, I can do it only now and again. I was just drinking smirnoff ices, hit up a little on the side. It's a whole fuckin package when you're a girl like me

I'll have to say my drink of choice is Jack and Coke, and on a rare occasion I will think about drinking something else...It's just that J&C go down so smooth, just can't be replaced ;)

it's awful when he gets around his brewere friends. they start talking about hops and all this other crap. of course it is fun to see some of their reactions when i tell them i can't drink beer.

there is a gluten free beer sold in some places, california being one of them. might have to pick up a 6 pack to try when i'm out there in january.

i might have to see if there's a store near you that sells it. maybe we can arrange a meetup when i'm out there and enjoy a few drinks together.
