i think that's up to you. but this is coming from the queen of hair dye:rolleyes: . eric's greys have been all different textures. that's just the way hair is i guess.

I have colored my hair in the past- and I hate having to maintain it- it is a royal pain...do you dye for 1 hair? It's only 1...although I am afraid if I look more closely...
And I was just giving a friend who had a few and is younger than me a bunch of crap...LOL!:D

then i would say that's karma bitting you in the ass;) . i wouldn't dye for one hair. if it's really standing out to you pluck it, but remember you'll pick it out more readily than anyone else will.

yeah greys are kind of a bitch. The first few I saw I pulled them out. Then a whole community started to pop up near my part line, so I moved the part to try and bury them. Now there's a few at my temples. I just leave them be now. Sometimes though when new ones start and they're only like an inch long, when I put a ponytail on the little wiry buggers stand straight up...then it's plucked because that's just not right. I can't dye my hair because of a severe allergic reaction, so that makes it easier to stick to the stance that a woman should be proud of her age and looking that age.

i stick to the proud of your age thing when it comes to wrinkles and such. but as far as hair dye goes, i like being a red head better than a blonde. i just think it's fun to change your hair color. have you tried henna hair dyes sway?

a long time ago when I didn't have any grey hairs, it didn't seem like they did much at that time, maybe cause my hair is so dark- but that is a good thought, maybe it would cover up those albinos. I can remember when I was a kid, my mom had used the kind of color that you just put in and it washes right out. We were out somewhere and it started raining, rivulets of brown dye was dripping down her face- don't want that, not a good look.

no that wouldn't be a good look. there are more now that are semi permanent and therefore gentler. i guess it just depends on what you were having a reaction to.

i think you're okay for now, with just one grey hair lol. hope they don't multiply too quickly for you. but i actually like salt and pepper hair most of the time.
and i'm with you about hating the maintenance of color treated hair, not to mention it's expensive. I go back and forth - now i'm still blond from the summer highlights, but will soon be darker because i'll get tired of the roots that grow in at an increasingly quicker pace and i'll be tired of spending the money.

I'm praying I'm like my dad...he's 60 and has maybe one or two greys that you can't see...it's great! I have had his colour and texture my whole life, so here's hoping I don't get them...
And Rensul, be glad you weren't stone white haired by 25 like my cousin...he's 40 now, but looks older than my dad...

my father-in-law was the same way. completely grey by the time he was out of his twenties. thank goodness eric didn't get that gene. he just has some grey at the temples.

The pulling one grey hair and two grow back thing is a myth. I had my first gray hair three years ago I pulled it and I haven't seen one sence. I think gray hair can be very pretty.

I thought that it was Karma too- for messing with my friend! I had hope to be like my dad- he has NOT a 1 grey at 57- people ask him all the time if he colors it- but he doesn't...
I am all for looking your age- appreciate my (subtle) laugh lines that are forming...my 4th grade teacher had salt and pepper hair- I thought she was the most beautiful woman- still do. I wish if I were going to go grey- it would be like that...
I also heard the myth about pulling and then getting two in return...I have resolved to leave it alone for now...it's really only noticible when my hair is back in a barrett- so I think I will just try and bury it!:)
Tradgedy has stuck and I can not get on the forum at work...some dink was caught looking at porn(NEW GUY)...do it at home man...so now there are controls- that boot me off!!!! It sucks:mad:

I have to admit I have quite a few grey hairs and i love them. I once worked with an older lady who had the salt and pepper hair and I always thought it was awsome. My grandfather had a whole head of white hair by the time he was in his 20's or 30's. I am well on my way. The only thing that keeps them from being to noticable is the thickness of my hair. But I say bring it on!!

my grandma has beautiful salt and pepper hair, but i'm kind of hoping mine comes in streaks. i love the solid streaks of grey or white hair. they're like kickass natural highlights :D
and like rensul, i love the wrinkles i have already. tons of laugh-lines. i don't understand the whole crazy to smooth out skin and get rid of wrinkles. to me, my wrinkles show i know how to have a good time, and lots of it

I have forehead wrinkles...and a few lines around my mouth, but that's it...i also look much younger than I am, so I guess it's just me that can see them :)
I also spend a lot of time in the sun in Summer, so it's the sun's ageing thing that does me...

i was cursed as a teen to have really oily skin, but it keeps you looking young. most people are surprised when they learn my age. i'm just glad that i no longer get carded for r rated movies.

it's been ok for the past 2 days I have actually been busy! I am trying to stretch the work out...but I work fast so I know it won't last long...I can get on my google home page which I have loaded a few games on...so there's that for a last resort...I think she will take that program off the computers soon- she wanted it on our machines to check against his...the program takes up alot of space and slows it down quite a bit...hopefully I will be back in business soon:) I'll miss you all in the meantime!!
my skin is in pretty good shape- I still get carded all the time, but I have a BIG smile and laugh alot so my laugh lines are definatley coming in...and I have a few little crinkles around the eye- but that's charachter- right?! I agree that with Sauce- it shows how much you've enjoyed life!
no problem burrying the grey...couldn't even find it with my hair all down:)
