We are down two starting pitchers and still spanked the Dodgers!! I dog the Yankees, but it would be cool to see another subway series. Even little r was getting into the game, I even got her to curse Nomar after his two run scoring double in the 7th. She threw her fist and said it, "curse you nomar!" And low and behold we win it in the end! Go Mets! Love the playoffs!

Yanks allstar team wont win the next two. Its either gonna be over in detroit, tigers moving on, or going 5 games with tigers taking it either way. Last two teams to lose the last five games of the regular season and still making it to the playoffs won the world series. Tigers lost the last 5 games of reg season this year.
And the cards finally are coming full circle. Having great seasons the past two years, but lack of spark in the playoffs. Now after a average 2006 season, they finally have found the chemistry to make it work. Pujols is gonna ride the birds to the world series!!!!!!!!!:) There isnt a expert out there that thought the cards would beat the padres this year in the playoffs. And not only are they gonna get beat, but swept!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see I stand alone around here with my love for the Mets. No worries though I come from a family of Yankee fans so i am used to it. Though I am not a yankee fan, I am a fan of life. Check out this article in regaurds to the plane crash in NYC. The piolet and one of the victims was a Yankee pitcher, very sad, very tragic, thoughts and prayers go out to him family. well, it looks like we are not going out without a fight!!! What a game lastnight. I have to say the cards had me worried in the 9th, but we took it at home!! Our Rookie Maine got us through almost 5 innings and Reyes had started the good vibes with the 1st inning homer! Game 5 was a great game too. So tonite is the night Bo! You crack me up I am glad our teams are rivaling.

What an exciting game lastnight!! The Mets made some dumb plays, so did the Cards though. Chavez made a great play to stop a homer earlier, but it just wan't enough. Those are the kinds of series I love, right down to the wire. Two run homer in the 9th sealed it for the Cards in game 7. Now it's off to Detroit, and then there were two, but like Highlander there can be only one. Mets, next year boys we had a great season all the same. Bo I guess you put me in my place and I am eating my words, but we went out kicking and screaming and putting up a hell of a fight. Yeah Baseball!!!
