Sorry ladies but ol' Mr. C. is off the market. *hearts breaking*
I asked my wonderful GF to marry me on Saturday night, and she said yes! (can you believe it?) Anyway, it was a great night, and everything went off without a hitch.
Proposal at my house (candles and flowers and champagne) > Limo to the restaurant > carriage ride to our favorite bar > (small group) friends and family waiting. Surprises all around.
:D

Congratulations!! When's the big day?
Haven't set one, she's been out of town all week, so we will have to decide a little later. Probably either May > June, or Sept. > Oct. time frame.
Thanks all! (our pic is in the first post of the long picture thread in case you are wondering.)

good luck with everything! it's a fun time. ya'll going to do a big wedding or a small one?

Don't really know yet, we are still considering doing a destination wedding to Hilton Head SC, and then having a big reception back home.
If we do the traditional, which is more than likely, it won't be huge, but not small either. Middle of the road.
That reminds me; hey everybody...send me your adresses so that I can mail out invitations. If you can't attend, no worries, Em and I would be happy to accept a gift, cash, or check in your place. Please send those adresses via PM...
Thanks! :)

Louisville.
I put my house up for sale a few weeks ago and will be moving down as soon as it sells. She moved back there about a year ago and I promised I would follow. Love that town, plus it works better with my job. Really looking forward to living together/same town for once.
