for whatever reason i've always been curious as to what story lies behind that joint....? anyone know?

and on "dreamin" it sounds like there's a riff from an old sublime song...that have anything to do w brad nowell or sublime?

don't know about the story for fatman, but as for dreamin' listen to the first thing he says at the begining of the song.

I can't be certain but I remember reading in an interview a while back that G wrote Fatman based on his real experience of trying to buy a used van from some fat guy and getting riped off. I was just trying to find the article on line with no luck....
