Surprise I'm on a plane again just had the bomb-ass crab cake in the airport here in Charlotte, NC.
Well last night I took myself to the movies after dropping my boy off and saw 300. Hands down the best movie since the Matrix. What a freaking movie. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Exactly opposite of the Zodiac killer which sucked! Too long. Even longer than one of my long-ass shows! 300 was the perfect length and what an amazing story. Good acting, tragic yet hopeful, amazing special effects and cinematography. It seems like many of the best movies these days are routed in comic books. 300 was based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller. You know, I love comics. I've collected and read them all my life. It’s crazy cause I just started buying them again. Its great being an adult and buying things you bought as kids. I remember going to Fat Jacks Comics in Philly and just salivating over all the rags I wanted to buy. Now it’s just a little different! (PS I also read the classics).
Anyway, definitely check 300--it is the bomb.
