G. Love Post - First Day of Tour

I'm on United in the air headed from Chicago to Cleveland. I'm drinking ginger ale, Jimmy Jazz is across from me pounding Bloody Mary’s or (is that Maries)…oh there goes another one!
I'm starting off the tour on a good vibe--doing a benefit in the HOB front room for MLS a disease which slowly attacks the nervous system and for which no cure has been found. I'm happy I can use my music to help in any way.

I have a special guest sitting in tonight. Steve the Traveling Bluesman from Detroit. He is the real deal. I met him in a juke joint in Detroit. Walking in that bar was like walking back in time. Anyway, he's coming out to sit in on the encore. I love playing blues and anytime I can bring real blues to the big stage is an honor. I also plan to film him for my youtube channel phillyglove so check it out.

I think tonight is sold out so what a great way to get back to business. I'm landing now.

Oh, I was totally supposed to go to this show. Bummer man. I'm sure it's going on, right now, and awesomely so, as I type this.
