I don't listen to Imus, ever, but I understand he is a reasonably intelligent person. I think he was just trying to sound hip, hipper than he is. I guess my point was, that I'll never really now how offensive the comment was because I'm white. I was fortunate enough to grow up in interracial neighborhoods, and have seen freinds experience racism first hand, but that doesn't come close to living it daily.

As for Barack, I can't even imagine what it's like for him. Is he black enough to get the black vote? Too black to get the white vote? Racism is here to stay.

It's all bullshit, and I am no Imus fan.

He won't get a show on satellite because nobody cares. He had no ratings on free radio, he won't bring listeners to satellite.

He's almost 70, it's time to retire, he is done.
