Sway I totally missed this post.

I have always been one who is afraid to comit until I know something is 100% and as luck would have it the tix arrived on Thursday before the show. We couldn't find a place to stay within 30 miles of the venue and trying to book a flight to Palm Springs was a nightmare. :(

I couldn't see letting them go to waste so I put them on Ebay for $100 ~ just enough that someone who really wanted to go could for a reasonable price and maybe I could maybe take the little one's somewhere special. An all out bidding war ensued and the tix ended up selling for $800!

So in the end it looks like the Coachella tix will be funding my Red Rocks trip which I am really much more excited about!;)

that's sweet. so it's really just a swaperoo...coachella for red rocks.
In my opinion though, that is really poor of brickfish to leave it to the last minute like that, you can't shell out $ and plan a trip on the run-around.

If they were going to give tix to you at the last minute like that, they should have included transport to & from and a place for at least one nite.

Then you would sing their praises, instead of going thanks, slow asses! :p

But I'm stoked that the ebay thing worked and enables you to do something else!
