Does anyone else check these out? In the iTunes store under indie music spot light. They have several really good radio stations etc that you can subsribe to and download for free. I like indiefeed and KEXP song of the day.

Well...yeah, there are a ton of free podcasts online you can subscribe to, a buffet of media consumpution to feast upon.
I got through this roadtrip with the assistance of podcasts, in particular the NPR podcasts of All Songs Considered (caught a full concert from Gogol Bordello between Nashville & Chattanooga today!) and episodes of This American Life.
They can be quite good, and much better than station-hopping between static, crappy top 40, and the occasional very impassioned preacher ranting about how quickly we're all going to hell.
If I want to hear that, I'll just call my mother some hungover Sunday morning. :rolleyes:
