Sorry about the childish title folks, but what the fuck Brushfire?
What's the point in releasing the dvd as a region 1 dvd? Are you retarded? (no offense to all you retards out there) Are you missing something? EVERY DAMN MUSIC DVD released for the last five years has been region 0, meaning you can play them all over the world, but no-o, you assholes had to release this on a region 1 disc.
Why am I bitching about this? Well, first of all, as I said, music dvd's are region 0. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Second of all, I don't have a region 1 dvd player, meaning I have to use one of four chances to change the regional settings on my laptop. And the sound on my laptop man... You should really see the speakers on it. They're so huge I can actually see them from the moon. Heck, when I climb on top of my speakers I can TOUCH the moon. Get it? Sure, I can always buy another dvd player for about $200, but not for just one dvd (even though it is GLASS). I can also buy the AV-cable to hook my laptop to my amp, but that's beside the point. This makes music less available, which in my opinion goes against everything I believe in.
So: Brushfire: SUCK MY BALLS!

That sucks, T_Norway. Did you complain to Brushfire directly yet? I'm curious what their response will be.
You might not want to use the "suck my balls" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3-7vBbGELM) line, however.

if it makes you feel any better there were several among us who were less than thrilled with the dvd, and all the music is on the cd.

This is more of a complaint that should be directed at Universal Music Group, rather than Brushfire Records, but it has been noted.

Glad I read that before I bought it from Amazon...makes me wonder...I don't think my DVD player plays different regions...I don't know anything about those things...hmm...

My dvd player, luckily, is multi-region (I come from a land downunder)... but the dvd is impossible to get in Australia. I'm going to have to get it from amazon. So it isn't exactly accessable to international fans, this one.
And Brushfire has done a lot of good. If it weren't for them, I never would have even HEARD of the Animal Liberation Orchestra. Or Rogue Wave, for that matter!

I had the same problem and had to burn the "zone 1 Dvd" into a "multi zone Dvd". Tell me if you need a tool to do this conversion.

I still have the wrong region disc for It's All Gone Pete Tong and definately can commiserate with you norway, it is a very saddening thing to realize the the movie you bought and really want to watch, just won't work.

Hey, in a thread that starts out with "suck my balls," can we be blamed for where this has gone? I think not.
Don't get all mad Rags ;) The Oz tour really was just going to be him solo, as far as I can tell...or maybe they just were the worst offenders of the GL minus the aSS rule/peeve of yours.

LMAO angi....Apparently for you americans Australia is a long way to come, so maybe aSS didn't want to travel so far. OR, maybe GL was taking a break for a bit and was coming to just chill out and have a surf...who knows...oh well...here's hoping the new album doesn't take too long!
