Ok. Here's the idea. Right now my 'Phav of the Phorum' is Tinkerlion because she has sent me so many gifts and free stuff, the most recent the new Band of Horses disc which is unrealeased (don't worry, I'll still buy it when it comes out.) So, I propose the Phorum takes the step into the reality contest world with...'Mr. C's Phavorite Phorum Member!'

Here's how you play...

1. PM me saying you want my addy.

2. I PM you my addy.

3. You send me as much free stuff as you can. Burned CD's, GLaSS memorablia, other music memoribilia, clothes etc. (Only music related products please, however, female members may send nude and/or risque photos which will be considered higher value gifts.)

The person who send me the most free stuff wins and will be crowned "Mr. C's Phavorite Phorum Member!"

No seriously though. There is a new reality dating show featuring some porn girl named Tia Tequila and she is bi-sexual, and she is choosing from both girls and guys! So my SO and I are sitting around and I was like, 'damn, I think they have come up with every type of reality show possible now.'

No Duke, it's that our housing market is CRAP!

There are 113% more foreclosures on the market right now than one year ago, which mean all those houses are being sold for rock bottom prices, making my house seem high. Right now I am at my break even point, I'm not going to make a dime, and if I go any lower I will lose money. Going on 14 months....Suuuuuuucks! :(

Oh well, I guess I have to just look at it like I still have an escape bachelor pad when I want to get away from the chica.

This is in Key Largo, FL...just so you know. It required a late-nite-roadside-stop-short-and-back-up on US-1, which is no small feat!

I don't think the style would be so flattering on me unless I had 6 inch shoes on (ok, that's dramatic embellishment), somehow those dresses seem to magnify what is a small baby/beer pot into what looks like I am 4-5 months pregnant again. The shoes would make me stick my butt out so far that my torso would be at 45 degree angle- then all abdominal indiscretions are seemingly absolved.....and then it'd be hard to walk. ha ha

I like the print more than the empire styling- why didn't I just say that first, huh? simpler

ha ha, I just thought, well that's a hella lot of work to make a dress look good, it'd be easier just to wear a padded bra and lay down flat, forget the shoes. but then we're moving into a whole different area of geometry.

I bought it from this girl in the Miami area who reconstructs old stuff and makes new/better from it. I'm learning to sew, and I was just browsing for good inspiration, but really wanted a new dress, so I gave in and bought this one.
I love it. It's not really a prego-looking dress, it's made a bit better than that, but I know those types...

Oh, me too!
Extreme caffeine makes my heart pound. I only had about 2 ounces of Red Bull on ice (i.e. watered down) and I'm sitting up straighter than I have all week!
That's why I don't touch the white stuff. Not my style, #1, and #2, I think I'd probably explode! No thanks! I like to at least have the illusion that I am the one in control.
It's EVERYWHERE down here, though. Hell, I could probably scrape up a fat rail off the dance floor right now if I ventured out there.

I have found that the proper toast for any consumption of Jägermeister is "Here's to us . . . and to not remembering the rest of tonight!".
I try to abstain from drinking shots of any type, but if I do consume Jäger, it's an instant erasure of at least a few good moments from the evening.
That's a good enough reason for me to just say "no."
(most of the time :p)

True story. I was hammered on Jager and Red Bull, also some Vodka/Red Bulls mixed in. Anyway, this is about 6 years ago when I was living in Louisville, got home from the bars at about 3am, and decided to walk to the gas station to buy some beer (only a block away.) Walk out of the gas station with a case of Coors Heavy and this homeless guy walks up to me and asks me for a beer, they always hung around this gas station. I recognized from him walking around the area I lived in on a regular basis. So....I invited him back to my house to drink and grill out hamburgers. Pass out about 5 am, wake up about 2pm, he is sitting on my couch drinking and watching TV.

So, we ended up hanging all day drinking and grilling out more burgers/brats, went out that evening and had some beers at the bar, grilled out again late night. 3rd day together I had to leave for Indy so I let him take a shower, gave him 2 t-shirts and a nice button up, gave him the remaining beer I had in a plastic bag, took him back to the gas station and dropped him off.

His name was Derek, Vietnam Vet, super cool. Kinda looked like Jerry Garcia, but was pretty much brain damaged from decades of Alcoholism. I saw him a couple more times wandering around the Highlands (area of Louisville I lived in), but I really don't think he remembered me. I honked and waved one time and he just turned and scurried down the street. I stopped seeing him after a while though. I wonder what happened to ol' Derek. Hmmm.
